Why do debit card companies want you to slide your debit as a credit card? - debit card companies

I joined the hunt shit additional funding. And it seems to earn points that can be my debit and credit cards are running in order to get points.

Why, why so many companies credit / debit cards encourage you to get your debit card like a credit card and sign it?

Thank you, appreciate the answers.

Because if you use a credit card, the merchant must pay a fee, usually 3% to the bank. So ... Thus, the bank earns more $.

The reason is that the license fees are negligible for the use of debit cards. Fees for the use of credit cards for about 3% of the transaction.

Personally, I refuse to have a debit card, because they have absolutely no protection.
